Warm You Up Spiked Cider
We love Valley and Co. Wedding’s extensive list of unique cocktails, but this cinnamon-infused drink is indeed our favorite. The instructions are simple and produce a stylish and off-beat drink for your guests.
Ingredients
2 oz. of your favorite aged whiskey
6 oz. good apple cider
cinnamon
cinnamon sticks
Pour whiskey and cider in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into an old-fashioned glass. Garnish with a dash of cinnamon and cinnamon sticks.
Cucumber Cocktail on the Rocks
Santa Barbara Chic offers up an impressively fresh cucumber cocktail for any summer wedding. Whether served in a mason jar or a classic cocktail glass, this drink will remind your guests of a sophisticated evening summer party.
Ingredients
1/2 shot of silver tequila
Homemade cucumber sweet n’ sour
Pureed honeydew
Lime
Fresh mint
Soda
Muddle mint and lime wedge in a martini shaker. Add a spoonful of pureed honeydew, tequila, a heavy splash of the cucumber sweet n’ sour, and a small splash of soda. Shake well and serve on the rocks.
Blackberry and Meyer Lemon Gin & Tonic
A perfect way to spruce up a barroom classic, this fruity Gin & Tonic from Modern Weddings Hawaii is a great way to entice your guests to relax at your wedding. This signature cocktail requires a bunch of fresh ingredients and good quality gin, but is worth all the effort.
Ingredients:
12 blackberries
20 fresh mint leaves
2 Meyer lemons, juiced {if you can’t find them, use regular lemons instead}
1/4 cup simple syrup
12 ounces good quality gin
Tonic water
Ice
Split your blackberries, mint leaves, and lemon juice up evenly between four high-ball glasses and muddle them together. After they’re well acquainted with each other, add some ice to each glass and pour in the gin. Top off each with tonic water and stir together.
