With over 20 years of catering experience in the Pittsburgh area, Jaden’s Catering offers quality catering for any occasion. We sat down with Javid Shojaie of Jaden’s Catering to find out about their business and what sets them apart from other Pittsburgh area caterers.
Tell us a little bit about your company, what you do, and how you got started.
We started in April 1991 as a full service diner. After 7 years in business, we decided to introduce catering as part of our services. During that time, I decided to buy my partner out and carry on the torch. Our catering services took off immediately and it was then that I realized I couldn’t do both, so I focused on catering services in full scale and converted our dining rooms to two banquet facilities.
Like any normal and successful business, we grow with the times. We expanded our menu, our services and our fleet of vehicles. We also choose to expand our delivery service to the entire Pittsburgh area and 50 mile radius in order to increase sales and exposure.
Are you a full service catering company?
We are a full service caterer, which means we cater breakfast, lunch, dinner or a simple appetizer party – anytime, anywhere.
What Type of event do you Typically cater?
We do many corporate luncheons, open houses, picnics, golf outings, showers and over 35 weddings last year alone just to name a few. We operate with 14 catering trucks, two BBQ truck & trailers for special events such as cooking on-site, and we also have a kitchen on wheels in one of our big box trucks. In addition to both of our banquet facilities, we also cater to many local halls and clubs and we have our own bakery which we offer homemade cookies, pies, cakes, etc.
What Makes You Different Than other Catering Companies?
Maintaining high quality and superb service is one of my main objectives for my business. To ensure customer satisfaction, we provide the highest quality service with our carefully selected products and our efficient staff.
We also take much pride to be one of the very few companies that can deliver lunch to a company with 12 locations on the same day, at the same time. We have many companies who use our services for their staff meals throughout the year at different locations or different times.
